Poet Fool

Poet Fool is an alternative social documentary featuring a collection of images captured from the streets of Europe and beyond. The photobook explores common threads and recurring themes in contemporary society based on visual clues left behind by anonymous people in public spaces across 15 cities over five years.
Following a long tradition of raw communication, it presents a conceptual narrative using snapshots of symbols and words found in graffiti - handwritten messages, stencils, stickers and other curiosities - assembled as a catalogue of fragmented stories, ideas and conversations.
Published independently in a limited first edition, Poet Fool is designed as a visual meditation on the human experience through personal and universal themes including love, politics, and social media. It offers an insight into our lives today from different points of view, echoing voices of everyday poets, fools, and others in between, united by an extant impulse to share and connect.
