The renewed second edition of the Floor Plan Manual Housing features 66 architectural competitions, 600 floor plans. 14 new competitions have been added. It is not only a compilation of all the award-winning projects’ typical floor plans from Zurich 2001 – 2020; it also documents a wide range of innovative floor plan types. On one hand, it challenges and develops orthodox layouts; on the other hand, it examines unconventional concepts and tests their suitability. The floor plan manual presents on 1360 pages more than 1200 floor plans side by side but does not comment on them. This unique compendium invites the reader to discover diverse concepts for living space.
