An eight hour live concert by mapstation / Ein achtstündiges Livekonzert mit mapstation
Mapstation is the electronic music-project of Stefan Schneider from Düsseldorf. Since he started his work under this name in 2000 he more and more prefers to play his music live in different everyday life situations. Amongst them were cable car stations in the alps, ferryboats in Stockholm, ceremonies of baptism, a gallery in Haifa or a forest nearby Düsseldorf. For the concert at Pro qm a special live set will be presented.
Mapstation ist das Elektronik-Projekt des Düsseldorfers Stefan Schneider. Seit Beginn der Arbeit unter diesem Namen spielt Schneider seine Musik bevorzugt live zu verschiedenen, alltäglichen Anlässen. So fanden bislang Auftritte unter anderem an einer Seilbahnstation in den Alpen, auf einer Stockholmer Fähre, während einer freikirchlichen Zeremonie, in einer Galerie in Haifa oder in einem Waldstück in der Nähe Düsseldorfs statt.
